About Us

Allied ICD Services Limited is the first and one of the largest inland container depot in Eastern India primarily facilitating the business of import and export in the industrial belt of Durgapur and the surrounding hinterlands. We are a prominent service provider engaged in developing world class inter-modal logistics and infrastructure facilities for fast, efficient and hassle free transportation from far flung areas in the industrial corridor of Durgapur and Asansol.

We are fast emerging as a transportation and logistics hub in the eastern zone. We provide the fastest way to evacuate containerized cargo and deliver it to the doorstep of factories and plants. We provide Import/Export Clearance, Warehousing, and Empty Container Depot services. We have the capacity to accommodate / handle 2500 TEUS at a particular time. The depot built on of 6 acres of land, is designed on international standards & scale.

As customs formalities are done at ICD Durgapur, the containerized cargo can be immediately transfered as soon as it is discharged from the ships anchored at ports.
The cargo is provided container detention free time till the time it is received at ICD Durgapur and thereby, the importers get additional time of few more days to get their import documents in order.
Customs clearance at ICD Durgpur are as fast as in any sea port, if not faster. Delivery process is also simple and hassle free too.
Once import cargo is de-stuffed and empty containers are returned to ICD Durgapur, the containers detention stops immediately. Thereafter, it is the responsibility of the ICD Durgapur to arrange the return of such empty containers back to the shipping line’s nominated empty yards.
For the exporter community, their shipment can be facilitated directly from ICD Durgapur and bills of lading can be obtained wherein “place of receipt” of container at ICD Durgapur itself.

To further facilitate detention and transportation of cargo in a better way, we are planning to expand the depot. We will be adding another 9 acres of land which is allotted to us by Asansol Durgapur Devlopment Authority (ADDA). We are planning to extend the facility for exporters and importers to create additional warehousing facility, empty container yard, multi purpose cold storage and railway siding, etc.

To establish a full fledged logistics network with ICD Durgapur as a hub to facilitate national and international trade.
To create an additional port facility to cater to the exim trade in the Durgapur, Asansol and the adjoining industrial areas.
To increase the volume of throughput of the gateway ports of Kolkata and Haldia.

In addition, the depot has other facilities, public conveniences, Bank extension branch, ATMs, parking space, public telephone/fax booth, computerized processing of the documents with capability of being linked to EDI, fire fighting equipments, container repair workshop, round the clock security, 24-hour operations with high-mast floodlit tower lights, and several other facilities.

The depot is well connected to all gateway ports, airports, Indo-Bangladesh and Nepal borders. It is located very near to National Highway - 2 (NH- 2) providing good connectivity to other parts of the region.
